2016 Update!
Training is ticking along nicely now. 2 weeks in Sydney over Christmas with family and friends was a great change. Managed one quality session most days, then playing golf, or hanging with neice and nephews was great fun. Back in Noosa things are going well and I’m overhauling my diet – I believe it’s the last piece in the puzzle for getting back to winning form. My 5km run time is coming down every time I run it (about every 2 weeks) and getting easier as it comes down too. Fitness is improving, run legs are growing, I have had a good block on the bike now as it’s its only a few days till Geelong 70.3 on Feb 7.
I’ve got a renewed passion for cooking, and love all 3 sports when they are going well, as they are now. I’m lighter on sponsors in 2016, no surprise as results have not been there, but it feels lighter on my shoulders too, and I’m excited to focus on giving more to those who I am working with, and am very happy to work with. That’s the key, and the meaning of life, being happy. I will do whatever it takes to be happier the year than last, that means good health, and race wins.
All the best for 2016. I hope you all have a happy 2016.
with love
Pete
